The Lockdown Opportunity

All of us thought that the lockdown would be something rather terrifying and something we wouldn't necessarily be able to cope with. Indeed, it has been challenging for everyone, especially financially. We've all been affected by it in our own unique ways, and as things only seemed to be getting worse, we decided to make the most of the time we had and take our music online!

Someone once told me, "If there's no gig for you to play at, create the gig yourself!" And that's exactly what we did! We took to doing online gigs. We've worked hard to get the best possible quality for all our viewers, and given the fact that all we could use was the gear we already owned, it wasn't all that easy. But, none the less, we managed to do something.

We enjoyed ourselves like crazy! No one really knows that amidst everything, Adrian had been bitten by a dog a few hours before showtime, on his hands and even a small scratch on his face. He had to rush to the doctor's to get the necessary injections. We tried to make it through the gig without anyone noticing a thing. We realized the importance of how life is so short, and anything can happen anytime, and that's something that motivated us to get onto this online journey, and get the creative ball rolling to get our content out there, and maybe help someone learn through our journey.

This lockdown, just like that, transformed from the horror of an end of life event, to an opportunity. We then put out a short cover on Instagram, The Start of Something New. Everything we do has a purpose, and hopefully through these blogs and on YouTube, we can share some of it with you.
